Addressing Error in The Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod
March 1-3, 2011
Trinity Lutheran Church, Kearney, Missouri
This conference was a foundational gathering for pastors and laity dedicated to the theological integrity and confessional identity of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. It supported the ACELC’s core mission to provide a united voice against doctrinal and practical errors being tolerated or promoted within the Synod. By examining these challenges through the lens of Scripture and the Lutheran Confessions, the conference sought to foster a spirit of repentance and a return to the "pure doctrine" that sustains the life of the Church and to encourage a collective witness grounded in the truth of the Gospel.
